Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Administration: • Assist in designing and executing recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address hiring needs. • Work on evaluating and refining sourcing and selection procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. • Maintain accurate and complete records of the entire recruitment process. • Ensure all recruitment paperwork is prepared and updated before the recruitment process begins. • Stay in-line of industry trends and introduce innovative recruitment techniques. • Stay updated on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) practices and incorporate them into recruiting strategies. • Ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process, including job crafting, assessments, feedback, interviews, and onboarding. • Assist in managing relationships with top target schools and institutions, and support campus recruiting. • Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs. • Assist in organizing recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand at career fairs and college/university open days. • Leverage the latest recruiting technology, tools, and software (e.g. LinkedIn, Application Tracking System) to achieve cost efficiency and deliver excellent candidate experience. • Ensure all vacancies assigned are filled in a timely manner within the authorized headcount and budget. • Maintain candidate management system, ensure candidates are responded to within the set time. • Compile job advertisements ensuring maximum coverage of the vacancy, at a minimum of one week on our internal vacancy list. • To ensure that reference requests are sent and received for all new starters within the probation period and non-satisfactory references are communicated to the head of department. • Assist in recruitment activities such as screening candidates, arranging interviews, conducting interviews, and handling general inquiries related to vacancies in a timely manner. • Development/updating of Talent Acquisition policies and procedures as required, such as contractual information, associate journey book, handbooks, legislation or company policy. • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards. • Maintain Talent Acquisition areas, including e-notice boards and office areas on a daily basis, in absence of the Talent Acquisition Supervisor. • Posts on media/communication platforms such as LinkedIn, Rosewood Doha Associates Instagram page and Insider as requested and where needed. • Assist in the training and development of colleagues as required, including T&C related topics for management training. • Attend all training courses as and when required.
Employer Branding: • Regularly update these platforms with engaging content that showcases the company culture, values, and career opportunities. • Drive digital campaigns on various platforms to increase awareness of the business within the talent community. • Ensure timely production of content, including video production, photography, social media posts, collateral, visuals, and adherence to brand guidelines. • Gather feedback from current associates and candidates to continuously improve and evolve employer branding strategies.
Associate Relations:• Greet all associates arriving at the office and assist with their needs. Maintain positive relations at all times. Answer the telephone in a positive manner. • Work closely with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. • Assist in the organization of associate’s engagement activities, department campaigns and events. Prepare flyers, posters, and videos for such events.• Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies. • Take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework. • Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained. • Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times. • Keep updated of newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry and within Talent & Culture. • Generally being alert for opportunities to improve the profitability of the department i.e. through controlling wastage and being responsible for the economy of all utilities and resources. • Take a proactive approach to administration, coordination of activities and recruitment, anticipating potential opportunities. • Maintain effective communication within the department and ensure that the Talent & Culture Leaders are kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen. • Attend any department training sessions and/or meetings required. • Liaise with other departments to ensure good communication and offer support. • Be fully conversant with the Rosewood Doha’s Associate Journey book and T&C Policies & Procedures. • Supports the hotel operation in times of demand.
