Assistant Team Lead, Commissions

In This Role, You Will: • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual commissions and incentives for an international team of direct and indirect salespeople. This may include processing commissions for advanced incentive plans as well as overseeing the execution of commissions related processes across the team • Independently drive process execution to ensure consistency and quality across the commissions team • Work with senior Sales leadership to define, create and distribute Sales management incentive plans • Independently drive annual sales process, including plan creation (both annual and ad-hoc) and annual, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting • Listen to, triage, process and resolve questions from the Sales team and serve as the primary point of contact regarding the calculation of their commission. • Maintain accurate quotas and rates for the Sales compensation plans. • Manage plan exception requests and escalate as required. • Conduct regular reviews of commission data to ensure accuracy. • Close coordination with sales managers to establish and maintain proper quality controls. • Provide operational analysis, reporting and trends related to commissions, compensation plans, and other Sales and commission related data. • Drive automation of the commission and incentive calculation process. • Research and analyze data to prepare employee compensation reports for management. • Create and maintain procedural documents to describe operational processes. • Make continuous process improvements to seek further efficiencies. Customer-centric focus with a desire to generate high quality, custom work Here's What You Need: • An interest in sales compensation and a desire to work in a high energy, fast paced environment • Strong with Advanced Excel and VBA. Experience of working on a commission software/tool would be an added advantage. • Having hands-on experience in designing dashboards and creating BI reports using tools like Tableau and Sigma will be an added advantage. Additionally, the ideal candidate should also have a strong understanding of various visualization tools and be proficient in utilizing them effectively. • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail and delivering of high-quality results • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills required • Salesforce.com experience along with Sales compensation is desired • A ‘systems’ thinker with a process orientation • Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills • Must be a proactive, possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a self-driven learner • Ability to work independently and with a team • Graduated with exceptional performance in undergraduate academics • 3-7 years of experience (ideally in an analyst or lead analyst role) with a strong work ethic
