Serves as the first point of contact for the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs & Dean of interdisciplinary Studies. Oversees special projects and events held by the Vice Provost and Dean. Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Exceptional computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with and relate well to staff and external constituents at all levels of the University. Strong oral and written communication skills. Effective time management and organizational skills, maintaining a high quality of work against pressing deadlines and producing accurate, detail-focused, professional output. Demonstrated skills in document development and proofreading for errors in content and clarity of message. Demonstrated ability to manage events with extensive attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal direct supervision. Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
