The Role:
As Assistant Transaction Manager, you will be Support the delivery of operational, client & client stakeholder excellence across the client portfolio as it relates to this service. There will be a focus on the transactional/leasing activities within the portfolio of predominantly retail lease and you will work closely with the client to ensure operational efficiencies in delivering transactions, and savings.
You will support the delivery of a range of Leasing and Transaction Management activities for a retail property portfolio and your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Preparation of Options Papers (Site Searches/Market Sweeps) to support client strategy and decision makingPrepare Lease preparation Approval Forms at the completion of transaction seekingUndertake a range of transactions including:Market Rent Reviews - manage market rent reviews in Lease Agreements with external landlords or its representativeExercising Options – when instructed ensuring that options are exercised to secure tenure Lease Renewals – renegotiate terms on existing leasesNew Sites and New Site Selections – undertake site search and due diligence activitiesDivestment of Leased Sites - co-ordination of Landlord/Lease notices and carry out Make-Good negotiationsManagement of sub leasing opportunities for surplus leased spacesWorks alongside the client and other workstreams to support property strategy develop and pre-transaction review to provide market and site specific data and informationManagement of critical dates and key lease events.Provide input into Portfolio-level budgeting.What you will bring
Minimum 2 years’ experience in assistant transactions and associated services with a track recordPreferred Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent. Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets.Excellent client service and communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Drive for process and technology continuous improvementWhat to expect from us:
