Assistant Treasurer

As a key leader in the finance team focusing on Treasury, Pension, and Risk management, this individual will play a critical role in management of several of the Company’s largest assets and debt portfolio. The AT will directly manage the treasury and pension team and report to the Vice President, Treasurer. The AT will have primary responsibility for managing the financial assets and debt of the Company worldwide and leading projects related to Treasury, debt and equity financings, liability management and pension related activities and projects. The AT will work closely with the CFO, enterprise planning, accounting, business and finance leads and HR as well as outside partners including attorneys, trustees, investment and commercial banks, investment managers and actuaries in managing treasury and pension activities.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

Manage the financial assets and debt portfolio of the Company worldwideWork closely with Treasurer on the defined contribution and defined benefit pension plansMaintain and cultivate banking relationships, analyze new products and provide recommendations to senior managementCollaborate with a wide variety of professional disciplines – commercial and investment banks, investment managers, trustees, attorneys, accountants, auditors, and actuariesManagement of people, including hiring, planning work, supervising work, evaluating job performance, and conducting salary reviewsCollaborate with Enterprise Planning on ad hoc projects and presentation materials for the senior management team and board of directorsParticipate in cross departmental projects, build relationships, assess needs, recommend and implement solutionsLead special projects related to pension, working closely with HR benefits teamManage the team responsible for collection disbursement of funds and related banking processesOversee all cash management functions, policies, procedures, and reportingManage internal controls for treasury and pension, and ensure audit compliance

Location: This role will be based at our Corporate HW in downtown Seattle, Washington.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $187,200 - $284,700 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 35% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. This position is also eligible to receive $90,000 in restrictive stock units on an annual basis, as part of our Long Term Incentive Plan.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
