Job Description:The University of Florida is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant University Registrar to manage course and room scheduling processes. As a key part of the Division of Enrollment Management, this role focuses on supporting students, faculty, and staff by ensuring efficient scheduling operations, maintaining academic policies, and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
Course and Room Scheduling Administration
Leadership and Supervision
Lead and manage the course and room scheduling team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the successful scheduling of 30,000+ sections and 200+ classrooms annually. Hire, train, and supervise scheduling staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Continuously review and enhance scheduling processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.Strategic Planning, Data Analysis, and Reporting
Participate in office-wide strategic planning, goal setting, and resource allocation decisions. Assist with the coordination of major projects within the Office of the University Registrar, including development, training, and communication of changes to the university community. Conduct research and data analysis to support institutional reports and scheduling-related decision-making. Ensure data integrity and support quality assurance initiatives across scheduling processes. Provide insights and recommendations for system improvements based on data trends and analysis.Other duties
Represent the university at local, state, and national meetings, forums, and professional association functions. Other duties and special projects as assigned.This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.
Expected Salary:$65,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
