In this role, you will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, translating business needs into actionable requirements. You will conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for optimization and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Requirements gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for software development, system enhancements, and process improvements.
Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. Document as-is and to-be process flows and recommend solutions to streamline operations and increase productivity.
Data Analysis: Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive business growth. Develop reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
Solution Design: Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Ensure that proposed solutions align with business goals and objectives.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Define test cases and scenarios based on business requirements. Coordinate UAT efforts with stakeholders to validate that delivered solutions meet business needs and expectations.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
Project Management: Manage consulting projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate project teams, tasks, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to management consulting. Continuously develop and refine expertise to provide high-quality services to clients.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Master’s/MBA in either of the following disciplines: business management, project management or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a business analyst or related role, preferably in software development or IT projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data and business requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Azure DevOps).
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management principles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data.
Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and recommendations effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and build relationships with clients and colleagues across functional areas.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
PC insurance industry experience preferred.
Project management certification and/or insurance certifications.
Travel may be required depending on client location and client needs.
