We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President, Model Governance, Traded Risk Global Risk Analytic.

Principal responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and internal policies related to model risk management, particularly in the context of Traded Risk models.Collaborate with model developers and owners to ensure compliance with model governance policies throughout the model lifecycle.Develop and document internal procedures and templates to support model developers in adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.Maintain and update the model inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness of model records, including all models and adjustments.Track the status of models, including their validation, approval, and performance monitoring metrics.Prepare formal documentation, including procedures, meeting packs, and regular model governance reports for senior management and governance committees.Assist in coordinating and conducting periodic model reviews and validations in collaboration with validators.Identify opportunities to automate governance processes, reducing manual effort and enhancing operational efficiency.Develop tools and applications to enable more efficient and streamline model risk governanceStay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in model risk management.Provide guidance to model owners and stakeholders on governance policies and best practices.Analyze different problem statements for actionable insights to support model-related activities.
