KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AtlantiCare seeks a dynamic and innovative leader to serve as its Assistant Vice President, People and Culture (AVP, P&C). This executive will play a critical role in refining and implementing exceptional people experiences and programs at scale across the entire team member lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, this leader will develop efficient and simple processes, systems, policies and programs to create better and seamless experiences across our company.

 

Partnering closely with the Chief HR Officer the AVP, P&C will develop and execute a holistic People strategy that furthers talent brand awareness and engagement with team members, providers, and external talent. S/he will leverage their HR & relationship building experience along with forward-looking trends and data-driven insights to position AHS for success as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the people service delivery tams focused on team member lifecycle processes including onboarding, internal mobility, talent management and workforce experience. Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization. Continuously raise the bar on benchmarks for service delivery and operational efficiency through the creation of a metrics-driven culture. Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities to drive improvements in organizational performance ensuring the team executes seamlessly to deliver business outcomes that are consistent, repeatable and measurable. Lead and influence end-to-end process improvement, scalability and automation of HR services and experiences. Develop a strategy in partnership with other HR Leaders, HR Tech, Benefits, & Payroll and other cross-functional partners to build consistent experiences for our team members that scale through automation and enhance the end-to-end team member experience in moments that matter. Drive change management efforts needed to affect operational uplift including adoption of new systems, programs and process changes. Analyze and report metrics on people systems activities in support of strategic decision-making initiatives and for ongoing measurement and continual improvement. Leads mission critical strategies that focus on enhancing team member engagement, advancing leadership development, supporting workforce development, improving organizational performance, integrating human resource processes across the system. Understand business vision and proactively determine strategies to support the business achieving its goals Develop a distinctive talent brand positioning/story for AHS that is aligned with organizational strategic objectives and builds on key differentiators that are core to AHS's mission. Collaborate with the CIO and other leaders in the enhancement of the system's technology and digital platforms.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

We seek a strategic and innovative human resources executive with a successful history of developing and implementing HR strategies that strengthen team member attraction and retention. This individual will be a values-driven and results-oriented leader with demonstrated success in utilizing data and insights to identify opportunities and drive team excellence. This executive must bring a proven ability to develop strong relationships, accompanied by the credibility and knowledge base to foster collaboration across the system.

 

Additional qualifications include:

A minimum of ten plus (10+) years of increasing responsibility in human resources, with specific experience as an HRBP or generalist supporting senior leaders. Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience leveraging data to diagnose problems and drive solutions. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are imperative to moving the business forward. Master's degree preferred. Experience working in a large Health Care System. Professional designation in HR a plus A combination of HR experience in the following areas: Organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, employee engagement, coaching and development, Talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations. People leadership experience. Proven record of impact and influence at the senior leadership level and demonstrated ability to build positive trusting partnerships with all levels of employees. Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills to drive appropriate solutions. Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, consult with and coach all levels in the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills. Dynamic, innovative and action-oriented leader who solicits input from all stakeholders and inspires others to perform to their best abilities. An excellent communicator with an understanding of the key levers within the management of a complex health care organization. Success in a highly collaborative, team-oriented business environment, where results are dependent on the ability to balance a strong bias for action with the need for cross-functional integration. EDUCATION

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or another appropriate field is required. A Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
