Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – BI Architect
We are seeking a seasoned Senior BI Architect to lead the development of our business intelligence strategy and architecture. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in designing and implementing large-scale BI solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools. The Senior BI Architect will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design and implement BI solutions, and ensure data quality and governance.
Responsibilities
1. Lead BI Architecture: Design and implement a scalable and secure BI architecture that meets business requirements.
2. BI Strategy: Develop and execute a BI strategy that aligns with business objectives
3. Power BI and Tableau Expertise: Design and implement Power BI and Tableau solutions, including data modelling, visualization, and reporting
4. Data Warehousing: Design and implement data warehouses and data marts to support BI solutions.
5. Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
6. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs.
7. Team Leadership: Lead a team of BI developers and analysts to design and implement BI solutions.
8. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with BI vendors, including Power BI and Tableau.
Qualifications we seek in you:
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in Power BI, Tableau, data warehousing, data governance, and business analytics
• Leadership experience in leading teams of BI developers and analysts.
• Excellent communication skills in working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills in designing and implementing BI solutions that meet business requirements
. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ skills
• Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions such as Power BI, Tableau Online, or Google Data Studio.
• Experience with data science tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
