The individual in this position will assume leadership of the Office of University Admissions, which entails overseeing and mentoring staff, spearheading innovative and effective recruitment strategies, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive work environment for the admissions team. This individual will also provide supervision for the newly formed Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships and Office of New Student & Family Programs. The new assistant vice president will have a unique opportunity to further enhance Minnesota State Mankato's recruitment reach, identify emerging markets, lead a talented team, and work with campus and industry partners to further distinguish Minnesota State Mankato with prospective students and families. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Administration, Communications, or a related field + At least five (5) years of related work experience. + The experience should include a minimum of five years in undergraduate admissions management, including supervision, budgeting, and policy development within a higher education setting. **Preferred Qualification** + Preference will be given to those with leadership experience in undergraduate admissions at a comprehensive institution with a strong regional or national presence and familiarity with admissions recruitment, selection and yield best practicesPreference will be given to those with leadership experience in undergraduate admissions at a comprehensive institution with a strong regional or national presence and familiarity with admissions recruitment, selection and yield best practices. + Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment. **Other Requirements** Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
