Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - IT Operations
In this role you will be responsible for being the IT Leader Interfacing between the Business and Technology teams. You will be responsible for IT infrastructure requirements and upgrades to improve overall system performance and ensure high levels of security. All Client engagements regarding Technology needs and requirements will be expected to be fulfilled by the chosen candidate.
Responsibilities
Manage Relationship with Client’s Business IT organization, and other Internal stakeholders
Ensure all Business escalations/issues are proactively identified, addressed and closed with documentation
Regular reviews for Client and Corporate initiatives / projects / IT implementations across towers including applications, products etc.
Drive IT metrics on Governance, Uptime SLAs, Entitlements, Commitments, Financial Budgeting etc..
Create and lead diverse IT Teams and be an excellent People Manager.
Ensure Zero Major Incidents due to hygiene issues for Client Implementations.
Report out performance metrics, dashboards, monthly updates and issue progress to Internal and Client, Business and IT leaders.
To enable the conduct of Infosec compliance audits across all account/s
Ensure 100% SOW compliance for all accounts
Ensure all SLA metrics are met as per agreed SLA norms
Actively participate in closure / Risk mitigation for Technology Audit Findings
Ensure effective Business Continuity Planning Delivery
Proactive communication on all the ongoing efforts as well as Risk Mitigation plans required.
Partner with internal Audit teams to help enhance processes, systems and teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience by conducting deep dive analysis, identifying issues fix it with a sustainable solution
Responsible for Documentation of all implemented technology processes, controls, SOPs
Formulate and Manage Annual IT Costs working with business teams, to create Budget outlays and ensuring adherence to it.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Postgraduates, preferred in IT stream
Relevant years of IT experience
Candidate should have expertise in at least one IT infrastructure domain (Data / Voice / Compute / Server / EUC / Service Management) of which relevant years must have been in IT Operations and dealing extensively with International Stakeholders and Global Teams.
Experience in driving IT operational metrics, planning and conducting client and internal businesses, IT operational governance and tracking action items to closure.
Sound understanding of converting client and business requirements to Technology specs and deliver with the help of Internal and Vendor organizations.
Proven ability to interact with technical and Business /Executive Leadership operational staff. Priority will be given to Thought Leaders, who have conceptualized and driven change in Ways of Working .
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills with expertise in using spreadsheets
Flexible to accommodate time-zones, so as to meet the client demands. (Our clients and implementation teams are geographically dispersed and in multiple Time zones.)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in various team settings
Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of setting priorities
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expertise in Voice domain would be an added advantage
Knowledge in Application Support and Lifecycle managed would be an added advantage
