Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Order Management
In this role, the person will be responsible to Oversee logistics team to ensure on time pick up of shipment and use the correct mode of conveyance. Drive reduction in Backlog orders through process improvements as well as by working closely with planning team
Responsibilities
Able to prioritization of orders and fulfilling them on time as per requested ship date (RSDD) without critical issues.
Eager to implement processes which reduce partial shipment.
Able to drive improvement in key SCM/OM metric. In region network health percentage, Supplier performance, forecasting accuracy, MAPE, Order fill rate etc.
Should be able to advise planning and forecasting teams on bottle necks and gaps which adversely impact order fulfilment on time.
Track and improve order entry time to drive improvement in overall OTD.
Explore opportunities to deploy Digital Solutions wherever applicable in the entire Order Management value chain.
Regular communication with Suppliers to ensure material is available on time.
Keeping a close watch on repair PO's and follow up in case of delay, for repair related orders
Handle and lead large teams and ensure flawless execution of order management transactions.
Drive optimization in workforce through creative levers to increase business profitability.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
A proven record in supply chain management with specialization in order management/fulfilment, in an outsourced environment. Direct exposure to clients in the Hi-Tech industry
Should have meaningful experience in SCM/OM roles
Should be proficient in the use of ERP (SAP Oracle), support tools and Microsoft Office software suite.
Should be able to work with multiple clients and build good relationship
Should have led large teams for sufficient years
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Knowledge on Digital tools that are applicable to OM domain would be an added advantage.
Exposure into forecasting, planning and inventory management would be preferable.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma would be a big advantage.
