Assistant Vice President - Service Delivery Lead, Finance and Accounts

Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Service Delivery Lead, Finance and Accounts

This position offers a high level of visibility with Senior Client Finance Stakeholders and requires effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to different client situations/scenarios and provide quick solutions. This role requires a passionate individual who can gain a big picture view of a company’s finance and accounting operations and make contributions in the areas of Accounting and Reporting by providing standard process improvements in these areas. Solid understanding of accounting concepts, processes and key controls, policies, reporting and budgeting principles. Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Cloud ERPs, Power BI, Blackline, Cloud/Workday. Preferably someone with a knowledge of using new age technologies like robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and drive transformation projects using design thinking methods.

Looking for a leader who has complete grasp on Record to Report, Procure to Pay and Accounts Receivable Function including Accounting and Reporting. We need strong subject matter specialists to improve our current FA capabilities and develop new capabilities relevant to our client requirements to drive growth and develop our Intellectual Property (IP). The individual must have experience in People Leadership, Customer Management, Change Management, Exception Handling, Proactive Communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage large FA Team, lead FA discussions with clients, leveraging deep expertise in RTR (Record to Report), PTP and OTC (Order to Cash) domains.

Contribute to new property acquisitions to Shared Service Models, lead and manage transformation projects, and solutions to drive improvements.

Identify and implement Gross Margin enhancement opportunities across business units.

Develop and implement best practices, frameworks, and benchmarks for FA processes.

Create diagnostic and benchmarking tools to identify and address process gaps.

Engage with senior executives (CEOs, CFOs, Global Controllers) to solve client issues and refine offerings.

Ensure adherence to process compliance using tools such as CMP and FMEA.

Address and resolve customer inquiries from legal, audit, and business units.

Drive PL performance by optimizing financial management, process efficiency, and digital solutions.

Ensure service delivery meets customer expectations and defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Manage month-end closing activities and reporting.

Direct and support team members in achieving departmental objectives.

Utilize digital tools and assets to enhance financial and accounting functions.

Oversee end-to-end client service delivery and PL management.

Develop and execute strategies to secure new deals and grow existing client relationships.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

CA / MBA (Finance) with hands-on experience

Recent exposure or experience applying digital solutions to streamline accounting processes and related reporting.

Experience in Hospitality Accounting will be a bonus

Hands on experience in identifying and implementing tools and technologies for improving FA process effectiveness desired.

Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment very collaboratively

Influencing skills, Creative thinking/innovative mind-set
