Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Trust and Safety
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Research and Development Executive to lead our efforts in addressing the evolving challenges of trust and safety. This role is pivotal in building novel solutions and driving advancements in our products, and services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of trust and safety principles, technical expertise, operational experience, and a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities:
Research Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trust and safety risks, trends, regulations, and distinct industry specific vulnerabilities. Analyse complex information, data sets to understand patterns and root causes of issues.
Capability Development: Design and implement innovative solutions to mitigate trust and safety challenges. This includes developing new policies, processes, tools, and technologies. Ability to ideate and create first time solutions to evolving challenges.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams across the organization, including engineering, product, legal, consulting, and risk, to build holistic and effective trust and safety measures.
External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as industry partners, civic society, academia, and regulatory bodies, to stay ahead of emerging threats and derive best practices.
Scalability: Develop scalable trust and safety solutions that can adapt to platforms and challenges of various dimensions
Thought Leadership: Represent the company as a thought leader in the trust and safety space through presentations, publications, and industry engagement.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Proven track record in trust and safety roles, with varied experience in scaled operations, policy, technology domains.
Deep understanding of trust and safety technologies and best practices.
Experience with data analysis and research methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.
Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expertise in areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, fraud detection, content moderation, or risk assessment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively.
Passion for user safety and ethical considerations.
