Collegiate Sports Old Dominion University is hiring an Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent related experience. All success candidates must have knowledge of volleyball skills and fundamentals. Ability to organize and execute practice and camp. Ability to identify players’ technical flaws and create teaching plans for development. Organizational skills, effective communication skills, (written and oral), knowledge of NCAA rules and public relations skills. Computer skills including, but not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, drive sharing, and sport-specific programs (Volleymetrics, Volleystation, Balltime, Teamworks, ARMS). Ability to run drills using various ball control coaching skills. Mental flexibility and openness to innovation and change.
Preferred Qualifications: Division I collegiate volleyball coach and/ or open level club coach is preferred.
