Assistant VP Finance
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Assistant Vice President of Finance is responsible and accountable for managing the economic and day-to-day operations of designated finance and revenue cycle departments, excluding annual evaluation of managers and directors not inclusive of the accounting unit. Span of control will be increased over time as the experience is determined for Revenue Cycle departments.  They will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and monthly reporting, often focusing on investment prioritization, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, while reporting to the Chief Financial Officer; essentially acting as a key bridge between operational teams and the senior finance leadership. QUALIFICATIONS

 

Professional/Educational Master's degree, MBA or MHA required. At least five years of finance leadership experience required, with ever increasing responsibilities. CPA and financial reporting experience required.

 

Personal Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience in budgeting, monthly close, annual audits, and cost reporting. Leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks. Ability to analyze and evaluate budgets and financial models. Ability to create and present ideas and budgets in a variety of formats. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to create and analyze budgets.    

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
