We are currently seeking a full-time and onsite Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach for the Athletic department. This position assists in the development of a competitive NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Program. The salary range for this position is $36,000.00 - $37,885.20.
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow and enforce all NCAA bylaws, league regulations, and university academic and other policies and procedures Assist with athlete recruitment. Assist with the running of practices and practice content. Assist with the oversight and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes. Serve as an instructor for one HPER course per year. Assist with scheduling contests, travel arrangements and ordering equipment and supplies. Provide periodic administrative assistance. Create and foster an environment that promotes the overall health and welfare of student-athletes. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. 0-1 years’ experience. Working knowledge of NCAA DI rules, fundamentals, techniques, and rules of sport. Must have a valid driver’s license and remain in compliance with the Purdue University Motor Vehicle Records Check policy. Ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes, parents, coaches, media, faculty, staff, students and general public. Ability to assist with and recruit under highly selective academic and athletic standards. Ability to assist in the assessment of athletic skills and instruct athletes in techniques of sport. Ability to assist in the develop game strategies. Ability to work evenings and weekends at Athletic events.Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree. Successful playing or coaching at the collegiate level. Experience at the Division I level. Knowledgeable of NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Experience in recruitment.Benefits:
