Your role involves steering our facility towards excellence by ensuring regulatory compliance, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the highest quality of resident care. You will champion our mission to create a ‘home away from home’ and embody the principles of person-directed care, making each day better than the last for our residents.  Key Responsibilities:  Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations in accordance with the Virginia Department of Social Services Standards, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the facility.  Team Supervision and Development: Lead and inspire a team of caregivers and support staff, providing them with guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a supportive and professional environment.  Resident-Centric Care: Uphold the five core principles of Person Directed Care – Respect, Empowerment, Choice, Relationships, and Caring – to deliver care that safeguards residents' health and well-being.  Financial and Resource Management: Oversee budget development, manage financials, and ensure judicious utilization of resources, balancing quality care with cost-effectiveness.  Collaborative Planning and Quality Improvement: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate effective service plans for residents, and actively participate in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process.  Requirements:  College degree in a health-related field; Master’s degree preferred.  Active Assisted Living or Nursing Home Administrator license for the Commonwealth of Virginia.  At least five years of supervisory experience in a retirement community or Assisted Living setting.  Strong familiarity with dementia care.  Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills  A sampling of our many benefits!
