Requisition ID :17444 Employment Type :Full Time Job Category :Operations / Warehouse / Distribution Work Location :Holtsville, NY (OEM BU) BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure the consolidation department is operating efficiently and accurately and notify Supervisor when problems and issues arise. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: + Consolidate items from conveyor + Print out consolidation check list for review and consolidation of materials + Check consolidation bins for accuracy and missing parts + Locate missing consolidation items to complete orders + Maintains clean consolidation department free from obstruction + Daily removal of cardboard and garbage + Report any safety issues immediately to management if needing assistance + Assist with final inspections and shipping + Trained on the picker & fork lift. + Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose. + Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required INDICATES ESSENTIAL DUTIES To perform this job successfully an associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other associates. + Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
