As an Associate IT Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in deploying and supporting innovative systems and technologies at our on-site distribution center in Vermillion, SD, while also providing remote support to corporate and manufacturing users nationwide. Key Responsibilities: 

Assess and prioritize daily tasks by managing tickets and time tracking through ServiceNow. 

Provide responsive support to distribution centers, corporate offices, and manufacturing facilities nationwide. 

Support and troubleshoot a variety of devices, including laptops, desktops, handheld barcode scanners, label printers, and proprietary technologies. 

Administer and maintain Windows-based operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, Active Directory, and O365. 

Offer local, hands-on support for corporate Tier 3 IT teams, assisting in issue resolution for diverse locations. 

Oversee computer refreshes and setups to ensure optimal functionality and performance. 

Document processes, create standard work procedures, and contribute to the knowledge base. 

Act as a local resource for Worldwide Service Desk projects, ensuring smooth execution and support. 

Participate in after-hours on-call support as needed.

Clear Communication: You possess strong communication skills, including the confidence to pick up the phone and resolve issues directly when needed. 

 

Qualifications: 

Degree in IT or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of enterprise-level IT helpdesk support. 

Solid understanding of modern computer hardware, networking (wired and wireless), and peripheral devices like barcode scanners and printers. 

Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows 11, and MacOS operating systems. 

Experience configuring and maintaining laptops and desktops in enterprise environments is preferred. 

Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams. 

Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
