As an Associate Content Designer, you will drive the execution of an digital self-service experience for Charter’s customers. As a writer, you convey a professional and direct yet friendly tone, and are concise with your language. You are receptive to feedback and adaptable in the face of changing priorities. You also have excellent time management skills and can be self-directed when necessary.

WHAT OUR ASSOCIATE CONTENT DESIGNERS ENJOY MOST
Writing communications that provide crucial information relevant to customers’ Spectrum experience, including billing changes, outages, appointment reminders and everything in-betweenCreating email and SMS copy that supports not only our Spectrum representatives, but helps explain topics directly to individual customersWriting and editing content for our support site within our Content Management System (CMS)Ensuring consistent messaging across all channels (e.g., support site, digital communications and the My Spectrum App)Collaborating with stakeholders to determine the best possible customer experienceIncorporating editorial feedback received from stakeholders into our content according to our Spectrum style.Ensuring the proper and most effective tagging of content for search engine optimization and performance.During a typical day, you may be writing a customized support article, incorporating segmentation criteria, editing a pre-existing online form, or evaluating performance metrics to influence changes to online content. Required Qualifications
Experience: Writing experience: 6 months or moreEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceTechnical skills: Familiarity with common productivity tools (MS Office, etc.)Skills: Understanding of basic UX/product design principlesAbilities: Collaborate and work well with others; understand design thinking and user experience design best practices, in particular the difference between copywriting and content design; effective written and verbal communication skills; effective time management skills and ability to be self-directed when neededWorking conditions: Office environmentPreferred Qualifications
