Principal Responsibilities:
Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the saleQuotes prices, offers promotions and discounts were applicableDevelops customer communications regarding new laboratory or future customer needs to promote future salesWorks with various departments to meet sales goalsFocus of work may be in pre-sales, post-sales, or bothInteracts with customers, company sales and/or service personnel to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functionsReceives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchangesUpdates databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returns inventoryRecords and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedulesMay schedule field service repair callsHandles requests for additional company materialsMaintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problemsMay also have some contract administration responsibility, however it does not represent the majority of their workRequired Skills:
