Additional Information:This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of onsite and remote work at our Boston, MA based campus. Please note that for the first 90 days of employment, you will be expected to be onsite 5 days/week. This role is required to be onsite for the entire duration of a program when in-session. When not in session, Executive Education expects Program Delivery staff to be onsite a minimum of 2 days per week and departments to provide onsite coverage Monday – Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.

Position Description:Reporting to the Sr. Director of Program Delivery, the Associate Director plays a key role in the management of the program delivery teams, ensuring the successful execution of programs, and ongoing professional development of the overall program delivery staff. Additionally, the Associate Directors will operate as a core team, working collaboratively with the Sr. Director of Program Delivery, driving important decisions that impact strategic planning and other initiatives that directly impact the program delivery team and business processes.
+ Supervises a group of program managers, serving as a point person to problem solve and trouble shoot program related issues, while maintaining consistency across programs.
+ Defines and communicates work standards and performance expectations, providing ongoing and timely feedback.
+ Develops and maintains strong working relationships through open and ongoing communication with all Program Directors, ensuring a cohesive and effective partnership with the program delivery teams.
+ Leads and guides delivery teams navigating ongoing implementation of new initiatives within Executive Education that result in new processes, new and innovative program components, and evolving delivery models.
+ Assesses complex situations, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective solutions.
+ Collaborates and develops strategies to increase staff engagement with the goal of increasing tenure, staff morale, and sense of purpose and motivation among the team, aligned with ExEd Hoshin Kanri goals.
+ Monitors, revises, and implements as necessary, ongoing changes and improvements to the program delivery staffing model.
+ Develops, implements, and maintains an enhanced operational strategy that ensures scalability across the various and expanding program models, new delivery formats, and ongoing content initiatives.
+ Briefs and consults with the Sr. Director of Program Delivery on decisions, highlighting issues and wins, related to staffing, programming, processes, and other related program delivery initiatives.
+ Advises and influences development of training resources, providing ongoing feedback to the training team, supporting the success of the Learning Lab.
+ Provides ongoing coaching, communicating and motivating staff around new processes and policies.
+ Manages programs on an as needed basis, providing coverage when short staffed, or covering leaves.
+ In addition, the Associate Director serves as the point of contact for key business areas, driving projects forward. Areas of focus, which may evolve to meet new business initiatives, include: technology, hiring and other human resource initiatives, professional development initiatives, process improvement and partnerships, participant experience, and staff engagement.
+ Responsible for other duties as assigned.
