Summary:
The Associate Director of Business Development plays a key role in driving the growth and expansion of Reliant Rehabilitation’s core business. This role supports the development of new client relationships, identifies potential business opportunities, and contributes to the overall sales pipeline. As a vital member of the Business Development team, the Associate will work closely with senior leadership to qualify leads, support proposal development, and foster relationships within the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Senior Living markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to identify client needs while positioning Reliant’s solutions as the ideal fit. This role is not specific to Texas. We are looking for candidates within the US.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify potential new accounts within the SNF and Senior Living markets.Research prospective clients and market trends to support business development strategies.Assist with lead qualification and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.Generate leads through cold calling and participation in trade shows and industry events.Support the development of needs-based proposals tailored to client goals and business challenges.Collaborate with senior leadership and business development managers to support proposal preparation, presentations, and follow-ups.Track and maintain proposal documentation and ensure timely follow-up with prospects.Participate in networking efforts and maintain ongoing communication with potential clients.Assist in resolving post-proposal issues and support client inquiries.Build and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders to increase Reliant’s visibility in the market.Track sales activities, document client interactions, and update CRM tools as required.Prepare reports on lead status, outreach activities, and progress toward business development goals. Entry-level position: sales experience preferred but not required.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Familiarity with consultative sales approaches and the ability to engage with C-suite level clients.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to identify and create solutions needed for the client.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus).Ability to work independently and maintain a proactive approach to new business development.Ability to travel as needed to support business development activities.
