Associate Director, HR Systems

Role Purpose

Identify the customer needs and the larger business objectives, articulate what success looks like for a product and the broader roadmap, and drive excellence in execution while providing strong guidance and communication to the business.

Major Responsibilities

Align the HR product roadmaps to business priorities and translate business requirements into effective technology-enabled solutions.

Proactively partner with the business, IT, HR leaders, and Functional Centers of Excellence (COE) to understand business issues, analyze data, and create a product strategy.

Analyze stakeholder and user features requests and drive planning, prioritization, and communication to stakeholders.

Manage the development process by making sure the development team understands the features, details, and how it helps the end-user; communicate with cross-functional teams and help to manage resources between them.

Maintain relationships and lead COE meetings to ensure planning, prioritization, and visibility to all projects and product enhancements.

Align stakeholders around the vision for HR products and help to resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups through discussion facilitation and issue escalation when appropriate.

Optimize user experience based on feedback and use cases, ensuring the products provide are intuitive and efficient and meet our associates in their flow of work.

Gather user feedback and improve the HR systems products to meet evolving needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

10+ years of experience

Systems design, product management / product strategy, understanding of Data and Analytics

Knowledge of HR business processes and systems

System implementation/deployment and change management experience is preferred

Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytical skills, including ability to turn analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact

Problem solver, inquisitive, resourceful, organized, growth mindset, customer focused

Ability to influence cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get things done

Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone

Delivery of scalable technology-enabled HR products/projects aligned to business objectives and progression of HR systems roadmap to improve associate productivity and experience to drive Gartner’s growth.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 105,600 USD - 144,900 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
