As we move into 2024, the digital transformation will revolutionize the digital space and you can build a career that will propel your future.About the Job:This position is an Associate Director Cyber Security, responsible for the Application Security Logging and Alarming (ASLA) and Database Security Logging and Alarming (DSLA) program in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.Experience Level: 12+ yearsLocation: Hyderabad or BengaluruRoles and Responsibilities:This leadership position is responsible for managing a team of 15 employees in in AT&T India for the ASLA and DSLA Programs in the Data Protection Assurance organization.The incumbent interviews and selects employees, maintains proper staffing levels, allocates resources, supervises teams daily operations, productivity, identifies areas for improvement, develops action plans to improve performance, develops teams technical and managerial expertise through on-the-job and formal training opportunities, enforces Company policies, takes necessary disciplinary action, evaluates individual performance for annual performance review, merit increases, promotions and other employment status changes, and conducts long-range planning for the team.The incumbent will manage and support a team of ASLA and DSLA Architects, Onboarding, Operations, and Automation Engineers who will interact with the AT&T ASLA and DSLA teams’ employees and AT&T Application and database teams across the enterprise who own AT&T Applications and databases respectively to be onboarded to for security log alarming.Will work with onshore leaders to discuss staffing and resource issues and strategies.Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the ASA and DSLA Programs.Acts as main contact with US AT&T ASLA/DSLA leadership team.Primary / Mandatory skills:Overall – 12+ years of IT experience10+ years of experience with Splunk administration in an enterprise environment6+ years of Splunk architecture and troubleshooting experience4+ years of application and platform architecture experienceDeep understanding in Application Database architecture.General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)Basic Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS.Demonstrate Analytical Thinking,Ability to asses and articulate risks from a business standpoint.Understanding of Business Process Modeling.Track record of staying current with trends, techniques, tools, and processes that drive improvement of security posture of applications.Finance and Accounting Financial Forecasting and ModelingDeep understanding of IT Environment and GovernanceProven ability to manage Processes and projects.Team-oriented thinking with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic teamDeep understanding of Software Development Life CycleBS of Computer Science and/or Information SystemsTechnical Skills: SDLC, Splunk Architecture and Administration, Application and Database Lifecycle, SIEM and incident management process,Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours.Certification: CISSP or equivalent
