KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Gilead products being reimbursed in NHIA in targeted timeline for patient access maximizationWork with cross functions in developing robust internal pricing proposals/ business cases and present/ support them at the Global Pricing Committee and play as a contact window with Global Value and AccessExpected to closely work with local market colleagues to develop and implement strategies to secure, sustain and appropriately optimize pricing, access and reimbursementProvide strategic leadership and recommendations on local initiatives to optimize price across markets and maximize long term profitabilityDevelopment of local market access planning framework for long range plan for Gilead Taiwan (i.e single payer budge, Price Volume AgreementEnsure local market access needs are collected, well understood, clearly and timely communicated, and HEOR programmes are put in place to meet themMaintain an always up-to date understanding of local payer needs and monitor the future competitive/ regulatory/ pricing landscape in order to proactively adapt company strategy to emerging trends in the reimbursement and drug pricing landscape as well as build and maintain professional relationship with external stakeholders/accountsCollaborate across Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, Finance, Market Research, Legal, Government Affairs, Public Affairs and other functional teams, to develop strategies that reflect all relevant current and projected market dynamicsPlay as an advisory role on price adjustment, payment to NHIA and risks on long range commercial planning and pricing adjustment scenarioEnsure that the local Market Access activities comply with regulatory agencies, public policies/guidelines, and with corporate policies and procedures

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

12+ years of work experience with Bachelors degree; 10+ years of work experience with Masters degreeWork hand in hand with the Market Access to appropriately cover the whole of the regionWork closely with commercial, medical, government affairs, HEOR, public affairs colleagues in order to develop the optimal market access strategyDevelop a comprehensive plan on reimbursement submission status and strategy of markets and work with the commercial and pricing colleagues to optimize launch sequencingProject manage and oversee creation of robust P&R facilitating materials (payer detail aids, market access resources, simplified budget impact models, formulary packs etc)Identify, analyze, develop and implement strategies that would shape P&R policy to prepare for product portfolioAnalyze, synthesize and translate technical HEOR, P&R information, including coverage and payment policies, into meaningful decision points, recommendations, and strategic tacticsHave excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate technical pricing/ HTA concepts to colleagues that may not be experts in the fieldAbility to take initiative, work within existing management structure, and to consistently deliver high-quality work productsCommunicate frequently and effectively with manager and other identified stakeholders/team membersProduce well-written Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets that communicate key points in a clear and concise formatFluency English and Mandarin are MUST
