A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Field Service Engineer at Spectra-Physics, you will partner with OEM Service group to support customer service. In this role, you will report to the Service Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Responsible for supporting our customers in various technical and service related problems of laser products.
Responsible for supporting overall OEM service especially our major client’s business that is currently ramping in Semi- industry.
Understanding the application wise requirement in each user along with the customer expectation is essential to build the trust and good relationships.
Required the ability of timely, precise and effective communication and field incident reporting to the factory in order to efficiently solve field issues and provide support to customers in timely manner.
Required the highly specialized knowledge the customer's research content as well as product knowledge for sales support.
Required the ability to publish a formal report in document both in Japanese and English with a knowledge of MS office tools.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 30% of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
Bachelor in science or engineering at minimum. Master's degree, PhD or higher is preferred.
Reading and writing English is required.
Preferred Skills:
It is preferred to have customer support experiences in the same industry.
It is preferable to have knowledges about micro laser processing tools and its application.
It is highly preferable to have good verbal English communication skill.

• Working Condition 1: Fixed Overtime 45 hours is included.
• Working Condition 2: Flex Time with core-time is eligible.
