Job Description

A.Position Objective

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with expertise in molecular engineering and large molecule discovery and screening. This position will support preclinical scientific assessments of technologies and innovations while fostering collaborations with biotech companies and research institutes. 

B.Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the initial assessment of large molecule projects to identify promising candidates for evaluation in support of MCICC initiatives.Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the MOA for large molecules, evaluate experimental designs, review key data results, and monitor the progress of chosen projects.Perform preliminary analyses of large molecule intellectual property to assess competitive landscape and potential opportunities.Design immune strategies and selection criteria, providing guidance to CROs for hit and lead screening processes.Initiate and oversee third-party validation of critical data to facilitate the success and advancement of innovative collaborations.Lead the development and optimization of assays for screening, characterization, and validation of large molecule candidates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate molecular engineering insights into the drug discovery and asset evaluation process.

C.Key Requirement

Education and Background:

Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a closely related field.Approximately 5 years of experience in large molecule drug discovery within biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO settings.Successful track record of generating innovative large molecule drugs is preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in immune strategy design, hit/lead screening methodologies, antibody engineering, bispecific antibody design, and related assay development.Strong understanding of major antibody discovery platforms, including phage display, hybridoma technology, and transgenic animal models.Knowledge in cell line development and characterization is essential.Experience in managing CRO relationships and projects is preferred.

Communication and Presentation Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.Strong presentation skills.
