As an Associate Principal Analyst, you will engage clients every day supporting their mission critical priorities, helping them to make the right decisions for their role and business. To support these conversations you will research markets, practices and trends, and partner with peers to create actionable content for Gartner clients. You will showcase your own thought-leading research, growing your knowledge and your brand as a Gartner Expert.
Conduct research and analysis that aligns to client priorities in certain areas of expertise, to include Endpoint protections platforms (EPP)/ EDR, XDR and Email SecurityRespond to client questions and deliver high quality actionable advice through a variety of media.Create clear, actionable, and consumable content.Predict how endpoint security market is developing, help clients in their decision process and assist vendors in overall market positioning.Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas through peer collaboration within your team.Proactively work with the wider sales and service organization and deliver outstanding client support in order to retain and grow the business.What you’ll need:
Gartner Experts are correctly viewed as THE thought leaders of their industry. This means you will need to further develop your knowledge of your markets, vendors, trends, and management practices. Gartner Experts are team players who value expert insights, bold ideas and intellectual courage.
3-5 years of relevant and demonstrable experience.Graduate or graduate + MBA from leading A & B-schools (BE/B.Tech from Grade A engineering colleges (will be added advantage) 3+ years’ experience working within the cybersecurity domainHelp us see the future & be creative. You must be a lifelong learner with foundational knowledge and experience in endpoint security and associated technologies such as endpoint detection and response solutions, application control, application containment, and endpoint protection platformsSubject matter knowledge in extended detection response (XDR), managed detection response (MDR) and Email Security will be an added advantageUnderstanding of and curiosity about how generative AI capabilities are being added to endpoint security tools to augment staffing skills, help with alert prioritization, automate remediations to identified vulnerabilities, and perform configuration management.Demonstrated ownership and continuous improvement mindset. Adept in analyzing and synthesizing data, identifying trends and patterns, and applying frameworks in support of research thought leadership.Skilled at distilling complex concepts into concise advice, and successful at developing and defending research positions.A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively within a matrixed, multicultural global team.The ability to display executive presence and immediately establish credibility with c-suite executives and senior stakeholders.Travel opportunities may arise to attend conferences and events.Who are we?
