Job Description
The Oncology Product Manager will lead the omnichannel brand strategy focused on achieving financial success while improving access to oncology therapies. This role is essential for maximizing the potential of our innovative portfolio and ensuring that our groundbreaking treatments reach the patients who need them. The Oncology Product Manager will develop and execute both short- and long-term strategies that align with corporate goals, analyze market research to guide product positioning, and manage budgets and resources efficiently. Responsibilities will include designing impactful promotional campaigns, overseeing all aspects of the product life cycle, and adapting strategies based on competitive insights. The successful candidate will cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key accounts, drive collaboration across various teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Will support and drive tasks including but not limited to:
Develop short- and long-term plans, analyze market research findings, prepare budget, evaluate inventory requirements, design promotional campaigns and integrate management inputs to establish the strategic direction of the product in terms of profit, market share, growth and desired market positioning.Develop the best go-to-market model for our sales team and digital strategy that aligns the Oncology Priorities to expand the reach and effectiveness of the marketing and omnichannel campaigns.Plan strategies, evaluate, align and integrate factors for effective branding of the product; optimize pricing based on market price dynamics; facilitate adaptation of product packaging to local setting; manage product life cycle in view of initiatives for new indications, extensions, modifications and other life cycle strategies.Responsible to prioritize the Oncology indications by assessing epidemiology, policy environment, access, and market needs, transform this prioritization into compelling marketing and commercial plans to expand the Oncology footprint in the CENCA markets.Leader for a set of prioritized market to accelerate the account plan implementation by influencing the CFT to deliver on access, policy, marketing, commercial OKRsResponsible to develop the private and public channel with CFT innovative projects to tackle patient journey pain points.Manage the Oncology brand P&L to ensure hit the sales expectations, proper investment in key high ROI projects, and deliver the expected high operating income for OncologyEnsure that product omnichannel marketing strategies and tactical programs are developed and implemented to improve market performance.Facilitate implementation of market intelligence strategies; gather, validate, and analyze competitive market information; set parameters and direct execution of market research.Ensure that new products/service ideas are developed and evaluated effectively.Plan, lead, organize, direct, and manage events related to pre-launch, launching, regular PM functions and other special projects; address logistical and administrative requirements to ensure availability of necessary resources.Develop advertising, promotion and communication campaigns based on an omnichannel framework.Establish network of Key Opinion Leaders who will be instrumental in building the scientific agendas of meetings and CME activities and will provide customer input for planning purposes.Establish network with Key Accounts and Policy Stakeholders to drive improvement in access rate for all the CENCA markets.Liaise with Key Prescribes / Key Accounts for better market understanding.Coordinate the overall oncology portfolio digital strategy across all indications together with the Marketing teamSupport development of L3 Next process for key indications, with focus on growth through omnichannel strategies.Proficient in interpreting marketing data dashboards with strong analytical skills to take data-driven marketing decisions.Influence and interaction with internal multidisciplinary teamsExperience with collaboration, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teamsAnalyze and consolidate market data (including field monitoring and reports). Perform analysis of opportunities / threats for products online. Recommend action plan.Establish contacts, form affiliations, make proper representation of the company and participate in meetings, conventions and network building opportunities (e.g. medical societies).Work with CFT team/regulatory/medical team to ensure central and hospital formulary listing.Collaborate with digital agencies and teams for designing and adapting digital materials while managing budgets and deliverables.Analyze campaign performance through metrics like CTR, conversion rates, ROI, and ROAS, while implementing and testing new advertising strategies.Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track website performance and optimize digital marketing based on UTM parameters and SEO principles.Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud for automated marketing campaigns and coordinate effectively across teams, demonstrating strong project management and communication skillsDesired Experience/Education
More than 2 years leading omnichannel strategies, complex high-cost businesses/brandsUniversity graduate in Business Administration, Marketing/Communications, Industrial Engineering, or related Healthcare degrees.MBA, Sales, Pharmaco-economist or master’s degrees considered a plus.Strong analytical skills required. Needs to be able to analyze data and develop appropriate marketing strategies to address market conditions. Must track and monitor performance of the brand. Must work closely with FF management to ensure that strategies are appropriately implemented. Must work closely with market access teams and FF to ensure reimbursement and hospital accessibility.Professional Competencies Required
Sound knowledge of high-cost products and Oncology or Rare diseases and the health care system.Good understanding of sales marketing and omnichannel principles and process, commercial acumen.Good decision-making, planning and project management, problem solving and analytical skills.Effective sales, relationship building, communication and negotiation skills.Knowledge of AI in Marketing.Proficient in Excel and building story telling out of structured data.Proficiency in computer software (MS Office).Effective English language skills.Communication skillsFunctional Competencies Required
