The Promotions Strategy team utilizes data and hypotheses to conceptualize, launch and optimize promotions that acquire, activate and retain consumers on the DoorDash platform across the consumer lifecycle. We also manage the overall promotional budget for Canada and performance metrics related to incremental volume and efficiency.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Consumer Promotions Associate to help support the team with promotions operations, execution and with supporting cross-functional partners. You will maintain reports to track promotional budget and volume, support sizing and forecasting, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. In addition, you will help execute campaigns and run experiments to get insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Strategy and Operations (S&O), Enterprise and Ads & Promos.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Build and maintain tracking for promo spend and volume to track how we are pacing vs. plan on a weekly and quarterly basis Collaborate with Finance, S&O and other teams to support them with sizing ad-hoc promotions and performing data-driven analysis Build spreadsheets, reports/dashboards and tools as needed to provide insight into business performance and assist cross-functional teams Support with campaign setup including setting up in-app banners, A/B tests, and measuring performance We're excited about you because you have… A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in an analytical role, including but not limited to pricing & promotions, business analytics, growth marketing, management consulting or finance Intermediate Excel skills (creating and maintaining spreadsheet models, knowledge of functions such as SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH, LOOKUP ) Ability to dig into details of large data sets and possess the desire to dive headfirst into complex problems Basic knowledge of SQL and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Mode, Sigma) Knowledge of statistics and A/B testing (nice to have) Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional partners. Establish a strong working relationship

CompensationActual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
