Major Duties:
Conduct cyber threat analysis, coordination, and interaction across the network and infrastructure components.Provide recommendations and steps for eradication of malicious software and system recovery.Assists in the incident response function with the analysis of malware and related security incidents as required.Conducts detailed reviews of malicious software to perform a cyber analysis and gain additional understanding of their threats.Provides recommendations for defining rules and malware signatures for enhanced detection and mitigation based on analysis.Develop new tools or enhance existing tools for advanced detection.Actively undertake personal development through enhancement of technical skills and actively participate in the performance management process.Research and understand new threats to increase knowledge base of the evolving threat landscape.Develop effective leadership and teamwork skills.Assist local manager in day-to-day Security operation, as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT related field.Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in an information security monitoring & response role in a large, complex environment.Solid understanding of the Cyber Incident Response Process & Life Cycle.Intermediate knowledge of security monitoring tools both on-prem and cloud.Experience managing incident tickets in products like ServiceNow.Strong analytical and technical skills.Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.Strong communication skills.Knowledge:
