Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for providing detailed business and technical data analysis and quality assurance testing that supports the Bank’s Data Products working closely with DEM Development, Enterprise Analytics, and other Bank OZK teams. Essential Job Functions Develops and demonstrates an understanding of Bank OZK business processes, Bank organization, systems of record, and loan concepts. Develops an understanding of Bank OZK applications and their respective roles in generating business data and how DEM supports these applications and data to meet business requirements. Creates and executes data testing plans. Shows an understanding of data model structures and ETL services in relation to data testing quality assurance projects. Writes SQL queries and analyzes code to ensure it achieves the expected outcome; escalates the need for technical fixes, as needed. Provides timely documentation and ticket management processes. Builds and maintains rapport within DEM and Technology Teams. Mentors Analysts in Quality Assurance best practices. Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions. Maintain good punctuality, attentiveness, and attendance at work. Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient knowledge of SQL to be able to analyze pre and post product releases of SQL views, stored procedures, table structures, SSRS reports, or Power BI dashboards. Proficient knowledge of data related testing. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts. Knowledge of data model structures and ETL services. Ability to demonstrate effective business analysis and technology analysis skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to produce thorough, accurate and timely work. Ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in an evolving environment and to communicate proactively when roadblocks are encountered. Ability to work under limited direct supervision. Ability to identify problems and challenges, assess potential solutions, and draw sound conclusions while acquiring buy-in from Senior Data Assurance team members. Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service, organizational, solutioning, and planning skills. Ability to multi-task and work well with exacting deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Skill in using computers and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or commensurate work experience, required. 3+ years of work experience in data analysis, testing, and/or quality assurance within data warehouse, data mart, or analytical environments, required. 2+ years of Experience in Snowflake or SQL Server Management Studio, required. 1+ years of Experience testing in ELT/ETL technologies such as SSIS, Talend, or Apache Airflow, required.
