Get to Know the Team

GrabRentals (GR) aims to provide sustainable access to high quality vehicles for our hirer-partners. Providing them income opportunities within the Grab platform without the need to personally own a vehicle. GR also plays a crucial role in securing vehicular supply for the Grab marketplace.

Get to Know the Role 

In this position, you will play a vital role within the Fleet Team. Your duties will encompass supporting the planning process, conducting research, and assisting in the execution of fleet operations for GrabRentals Singapore. The ideal candidate should have strong critical thinking abilities and excellent interpersonal skills, which will aid the Manager in overseeing, planning, and executing operational activities. You will also be tasked with organizing assignments, identifying challenges, developing solutions, and presenting these to leadership.

This role will report to the Head, Fleet, reporting onsite to Singapore Grab office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Design solutions and initiatives, track timelines, and assess impact of operational changes on the ground. 

Present findings and make data-driven recommendations to stakeholders & Managers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams within GR and other stakeholders within Grab Singapore to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimise processes, improve efficiency, and achieve cost savings

Actively engage in fleet operations, collaborating closely with teammates to drive improvements and productivity.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Degree / Diploma holders (preferably in business administration, economics, supply chain or engineering)

Ability to use a data-driven approach to identify problems and implement solutions.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Proven ability to solve problems and to influence decision making.

Initiate and maintain strong relationships with with customers, partners and vendors

Ability to work in diverse environments and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous landscapes and adhere to the highest ethical standards.

Passionate about identifying user pain points, process bottlenecks, or inefficiencies and designing solutions to resolve them

Strong desire to work on and take ownership of product-related projects to drive platform improvements and enhance end-user experience

Ability to coordinate tasks across various stakeholders, manage project progress and achieve goals in a timely manner
