1.     To prepare the media, as and when required and qualify as per SOP.

2.     To receive the ready to use media and culture and qualify as per SOP.

3.     To perform the routine observation of sterility tubes/canister (Finish product and stability).   

4.     To perform the routine observation of Bioburden (In process, RM, PM, Water).

5.     To perform the routine observation of biological indicator.

6.     To perform the Routine observation of Environmental Monitoring Plates.

7.     To supervise the discarding method of the same.

8.     To run the routine autoclave cycle as per requirements.

9.     To perform the routine temperature monitoring of incubators and area.

10.  To perform the verification and calibration of instruments and equipment’s.

11.  To Perform/Check the routine cleaning of incubators/autoclave.

12.  To co-ordinate with technical department for any kind of machine related abnormality, which might be affecting the quality of the product, and its microbiological content.

13.  To sign all the documents related to microbiological testing and review the document.

14.  To notify Supervisors and QMS team in case of results goes out of limit or any abnormalities.

15.  To maintain and update stock record of microbiological media and culture.

16.  To qualify the personnel for observation.

17.  To keep track of requirement for procurement and give monthly requirement to Supervisor.

18.  To qualify the prepared media for growth promotion test.

19.  To perform gram staining of daily-observed colonies and send them for the identification timely.

20.  To prepare media for routine monitoring.

21.  To perform the observation of validation product as per the laid down protocol.

22.  To prepare inhouse pure culture and prepare culture suspension whenever requires.

23.  To maintain and update media stock record formats.

24.  To record all the data related to microbiological testing.

25.  To prepare requirement list of media & reagent for procurement.

26.  To intimate Supervisor for any abnormalities in microbiological observation.
