The opportunity: 

In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across Procurement, Pricing, Allocation, and Demand to achieve globally optimized results for customers. Key responsibilities include designing products, crafting customized go-to-market strategies, and handling daily pricing activities. You will maintain the regional pricing database, interface with teams to drive business growth, and manage the Ocean P&L for your district. Excellent communication and organizational skills, a focus on client satisfaction, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

You will: Work across Procurement, Pricing, Allocation, and Demand teams to deliver globally optimized results for our customers Help design products and generate customized go-to-market strategies for customers Perform daily pricing motions, including regular market rate updates plus work tenders and RFQs for your region Maintain regional pricing database and work with pricing systems to ensure all team members have updated access to the latest market rates Interface with procurement and pricing teams to drive profitable business, identify growth opportunities, and capture market-specific knowledge Partner with commercial teams to understand and translate customers’ growth potential and levers Support the general management of the Ocean P&L for your district through scaling volume and increasing profitability Drive financial health levers for your district by supporting Operational teams in their quoting, invoicing, and dispute efforts You should have: 2+ years of prior Ocean Freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier or 3+ years of supply chain experience and a BA/BS Degree; Ability to interpret data  Strategic vision and ground floor execution; Bias to Action, Process, Structure and Data; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; An obsession with client happiness. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.
