UPMC Corporate Quality is hiring an Associate, PC Consultant to join our WISER Team! This role will typically work Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position will be required to travel within a radius of 40 miles to other UPMC facilities as needed. When working at the Oakland Campuses, the individual will need to be able to walk within a half mile radius to assist at our UPMC Campuses.
Under the direction of management and more senior members of the team, the PC Consultant Associate will provide day to day support for the UPMC community end user computing devices. This support could include hardware, application, and data communications troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in technical mentorship by intermediate and senior level team members. Provide service to ISD client community, patients, families and visitors, while protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through physical and electronic measures. Assist with relocating standard desktop computers and devices within the UPMC end user community, as directed by the Manager of User Support, the PC Support Supervisor, and/or Senior PC Support Consultants. Provide second level support for problem requests escalated by the ISD Help Desk and coordinates with UPMC personnel and vendors to resolve issues. Report back to the ISD Help Desk and end user, regarding problem status until resolved. Document request status and resolution activities, as directed.Follow procedures for documentation of PC Support services to the UPMC end user community. Update all project management and time tracking tools accordingly. Ability to manage time, tickets, and workload under the direction of leadership. Demonstrates appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications.
