Your opportunity Working within the London based Product Strategy team, and alongside the Product Development team, the focus of the role is as follows: + Develop, maintain, and update data tools that provide support and insight to product range activity, including existing range management and new ideas. + Support innovative investment ideas through our internal processes to provide a pool of seed accounts that may provide future product development opportunities. + Research and maintain topical, commercial understanding of product strategy and development opportunities and the impact they may have on JHI’s European pooled fund ranges. + Support country-specific ESG labelling process for existing and new labels (where there is a credible business case) for JHI Brighter Future Funds and any qualifying client mandates. + Carry out other duties as assigned What to expect when you join our + Hybrid working and reasonable accommodations + Generous Holiday policies + Excellent Health and Wellbeing benefits including corporate membership to ClassPass + Paid volunteer time to step away from your desk and into the community + Support to grow through professional development courses, tuition/qualification reimbursement and more + All-inclusive approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion + Maternal/paternal leave benefits and family services + Complimentary subscription to Headspace – the mindfulness app + All employee events including networking opportunities and social activities + Lunch allowance for use within our subsidized onsite canteen Must have skills + Good knowledge of the asset management industry and product landscape + Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills + High level of proficiency across market data tools (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Broadridge, Bloomberg, Factset) + Understanding of the drivers and processes integral to successful product development and management (product lifecycle) + Experience of developing positive relationships across different functions, regions and across all levels of seniority + Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and ability to communicate clearly and persuasively + Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity; demonstrates perseverance and ability to adapt nimbly, navigating obstacles and objections + Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of our business + Self-motivated with ability to drive initiatives forward while operating as a trusted and motivational member of a global team Potential for growth + Mentoring + Leadership development programs + Regular training + Career development services + Continuing education courses At Janus Henderson Investors we’re committed to an inclusive and supportive environment.
