IDS International is looking for an Associate, Proposals to join our proposals team. This role will sit in Arlington, VA and will report to the Manager, Proposals will be responsible for gathering and formatting information, writing drafts on-time, and obtaining approvals for proposal content. Individual may work remote if willing to travel to HQ and/or conferences on occasion
Responsibilities:
Analyze RFP requirements and provide guidance to leadership on bid feasibility.Review proposal instructions and draft questions.Generate proposal outlines using solicitation requirements.Work with SMEs, consultants, and IDS staff in developing assigned proposal content. This may include conducting interviews with these personnel to draft text that outlines processes, approaches, techniques, benefits, examples and other typical technical volume proposal content.Participate in all color reviews for live bids as assigned by the Proposal Manager.Assist Proposal Manager in coordinating proposals related reviews and meetings.Serve as lead note taker for all strategic meetings to include color reviews, BD strategy sessions, and pricing meeting, as appropriate.Lead writing in response to data calls, proposal writing responses, and IDS technical volumes.Coordinate and track responses to prime contractor data calls, working with appropriate individuals within company to gather information and ensuring deadlines are met.Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implement any changes, and maintain information in BD repository.Draft clear and compelling narratives that articulate the value proposition of the organizationProvide regular updates to leadership on proposal status and key milestones.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintains personal networks and memberships in relevant professional organizations and associations.Coordinate responses to prime contractor data calls, working with appropriate individuals within company to gather information and ensuring deadlines are met.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.Previous experience within the government contracting realm.Strong technical writing and communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Datto, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, Beta.SAM.gov, GovWin.have a Top-Secret clearance or be able to obtain oneEmployee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
