Job Description

Key Relationship:

BPG teams including investments, portfolio management, tax, finance,
legal, etc.
Regional BPG as well as Brookfield Properties teams including asset
management and developments

Purpose of the role:
 

This role presents an opportunity to work within Brookfield’s real estate platform across APAC region
with a primarily focus on opportunistic corporate level and direct real estate acquisitions in Japan.

Specific responsibilities include performing complex financial analysis and valuations, conducting
market research, assisting with due diligence, writing investment committee memorandum and
presenting investment recommendations. Candidates will work closely with senior management,
Brookfield affiliates (investment professionals from other business areas within Brookfield’s real estate
platform) and external business partners.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Finance, Business or a related field
• 1-5 years (depending on candidate seniority) of experience in investment banking, M&A, real
estate and/or private equity investing, investment management business or its equivalent
• Exceptional analytical, financial modeling and valuation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong personality and the maturity to interact with high-level stakeholders at Brookfield and
within portfolio companies with limited supervision
• Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Native Japanese and Business Level English
