The role is based in Dubai within Global Payment Solutions supporting Institutional Sales focused on the Banking Sector across the MENAT region. The role is to achieve revenue for the Group by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients in order to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions.

In this role, you will:

Support Regional Sector Lead for Banks to execute the regional sales strategy for our Institutional Sales Bank customers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Institutional Clients to drive business growth. Manage a client portfolio to maintain existing revenue and generate new revenue for HSBC.Proactively identify sales opportunities and execute them successfully.Serve as a subject matter expert for Institutional Clients, providing tailored solutions for their transaction banking needs. Support client planning through collaboration with stakeholders across the business lines and functions.Act as a point of contact within GPS, coordinate with products for approvals and client management to support the product implementation.Collaborate across HSBC to ensure a consistent positive client experience.Be recognised as a GPS specialist able to display competent knowledge of Financial Institutions, a special Banks products, and services.Understand current economic trends and their impact on HSBC and its clients identifying key levers to capitalize on opportunities and minimize downside exposure. Ensure the sales process and client activity is documented with obstacles clearly communicated to line management in a timely manner.Demonstrate behaviors that actively supports employee engagement and drives collaboration in an environment where individual and team contributions are encouraged.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge / Experience

Experience in front line roles that involves business development and establishing valuable long-term relationships with institutional clients is required.Good level of commercial awareness and proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.Awareness of payment solutions and digital trends.Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create strong content, presentations, and data analysis. Understanding of SWIFT, RTGS, ACH and other payments systems.Understanding of cross-border clearing and settlement process, familiarity with regulatory frameworks of correspondent banking and cross-border payments.Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
