As an Associate in the Restructuring business, you will embody drive, embrace change and take risks. You will influence others to solve problems and be a team player in our Restructuring business and assist with the implementation of Cayman based Business Development and Marketing Events.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding of clients, adhering to KYC requirements Provide analysis of books and records, Management of creditor claims Investigation of fund flows, tracing of company assets and review financial transactions Extraction and review of documents on e-discovery platforms in support of litigation Drafting sections of reports for Courts and creditors Liaise and negotiate with senior management of companies, clients, creditors as well as external advisors such as consultants, auditors, and lawyers Assist the team with business development and marketing activities on island Support the Office Heads, and/or BD/Marketing teams with administrative support on key activities aimed at revenue growth.Essential Traits:
Qualifications in fund administration, and/or compliance Be willing to work towards accounting or investigation qualifications 1+ years of relevant work experience, including insolvency, and forensic investigations Have basic knowledge of insolvency procedures, their application, and differing requirements Have experience of cross-border assignments, including offshore jurisdictions, Hong Kong US, Switzerland and Singapore. Have experience in provisional and compulsory liquidations, voluntary liquidations, or receivership assignments Possess investigation, project management and report writing abilities Good business sense and commercial acumen Strong financial and business analytical skills Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)About Kroll
