Schwab’s Personal Trust Services (“PTS”) organization provides personal trust products and services to Schwab’s clients, including individual investors, beneficiaries, RIAs, and corporate fiduciaries. PTS products and services are provided through three separate legal entities; Charles Schwab Trust Company, Charles Schwab Trust Company of Delaware, and Charles Schwab &Co. PTS products cover the full fiduciary, agency, and custody spectrum, including fiduciary trust administration and investment management, directed trustee, trusteed IRA, administrative agency, trust reporting, and trust outsourcing. PTS currently serves $28 billion in assets under management, administration, and custody, meeting the needs of over 1,000 independent RIAs and over 8,000 individual families.

The Associate, Trust Support is responsible for managing office activities where Personal Trust Services employees work in a "satellite" office setting.  The job requires on-site management of office duties including incoming and outgoing mail processing, managing vendors, ordering necessary supplies for PTS employees, and some processing and data input tasks.

Schwab follows the three lines of defense model of risk governance. The Associate, Trust Transition and Support is a first line of defense position for CSTC and CSTCD and assures compliance with all trust company policies and procedures, Schwab’s enterprise risk management program, as well as all applicable state and federal banking and trust regulations in the context of their responsibilities.

Effectively managing office operations to ensure all day-to-day activities are completed consistently. This includes timely mail processing to meet drop off and pick up times for all mail and package delivery services; disseminating mail and deliveries; managing vendors; monitoring and ordering supplies; managing visitors; etcProviding superior follow-up, along with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in data inputWorking in a team setting where collaboration and communication are key to meeting client needsComplying with all state and federal banking regulations and internal policies and procedures regarding asset eligibility, OFAC, AML, and the Customer Identification ProgramWhat you have
1-2 years of experience in banking or financial industry, including customer service and/or operations experienceExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other MS Office applicationsSuperior organization and follow-up skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracyAbility to communicate effectively (written and oral) to varying levels across the organization and build strong partnershipsMust be team oriented with the ability to collaborate with peers and leadersComfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving work environmentPositive attitude and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
