Associate – Stores (Parts)
**Job Summary:** The Associate Stores - (Parts)will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the store's inventory and day-to-day operations. They are responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing goods and ensuring the smooth functioning of the stores to achieve customer satisfaction. This role also includes conducting regular safety training for storekeepers to ensure compliance and safe practices across all material handling and storage processes **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records. • Ensure accurate storage of goods according to prescribed conditions and optimize warehouse space utilization. • Ensure accurate documentation for all received materials, organize and store received goods in designated locations efficiently and safely. • Prepare necessary documentations for issuing goods. • Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment within the store area. • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety regulations. • Assign daily work priorities to ensure efficient workflow and efficiency. • Ensure the implementation of warehouse digitalization initiatives • Conduct daily Toolbox talks and safety training sessions with team members. • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual audits as required to maintain accurate inventory levels. • Apply 5S and lean principles throughout operations, maintain standard processes in safety, efficiency, and space utilization. • Communicate inbound shipment discrepancies to purchasing & ensure quick corrective action • Ensure all activities implement to Emerson policies and standard methodologies. • Coordinate with transporters and our finance team for freight bill payment processes. • Knowledge on GST documentation. • Consumables review and management • Collaborate with contractors team to get all activities pertaining to stores such as pre-packing, put-away, picking, posting, etc. • Ensure work orders for kits and Plug Stem assembly as applicable by appropriately handled. • Any other associated tasks as and when applicable **Who You Are:** You establish clear goals with anticipated outcomes and results and focus and monitor both formal and informal progress regularly. You understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. You solicit both input and discussion. You prepare content for communication that is impactful.
