Associate Account Executive

This strategic sales position is responsible for owning the full sales cycle of Samba TV’s advertising solutions, which help brands and agencies deliver their messages across all screens, in real-time or anytime. Candidates must be highly motivated, possess outstanding communication skills, have foundational knowledge of online advertising and be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing environmentResponsibilities:Act as a thought partner on behalf of Samba with industry-leading agencies and brands as they look to evolve their TV, Video, and Marketing strategies through more effective use of dataSell SambaTV’s suite of advertising and TV research/analytics solutions to brands advertisers and their agenciesProspect, qualify, close and scale revenue-generating relationships with advertisers and agencies within a territory or verticalPersuasively communicate Samba TV’s offerings and unique value proposition to advertisers and agencies via email, phone and in-person presentations and discussionsCollaborate with account management and programmatic consultants to deliver proposals that exceed advertiser and agency marketing objectives and expectationsDevelop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within agencies and brands, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account’s organization, needs and revenue potentialMeet or exceed quarterly sales goals against an account listWork with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnershipsHelp develop local marketing initiatives and participate in industry events, ultimately becoming a regional knowledge leader on cross-platform ad synchronization and retargetingRequirements:Demonstrated ability to perform against quota and excel in a highly competitive marketBachelor’s degree A thirst for learning and a desire to continually improve yourself as a customer-facing sales professionalHunger to succeed and a desire to work hard to achieve both personal and professional goalsProven sales success with a minimum of 1+ years total experience in advertising, digital media, mobile or internet technology salesDemonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach with a focus on building partnerships with clientsCustomer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skillsWillingness to travel to outside marketsKnowledge of the TV/online/mobile advertising industry and data a plusWillingness to entertain clients during evenings and occasionally weekendsStrong references with partners, customers and colleaguesExisting, current relationships with media-buying decision-makers favoredJoin our team and make a lasting impact by delivering research excellence, driving data-driven decisions, and shaping the future of audience measurement and consumer insights at Samba.
