What this job involves

The JLL Science and Innovation Agency team are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate to join their close-knit team.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the life sciences, technology, and research sectors with their real estate needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of scientific innovation and commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in market research and analysis to identify suitable properties for science and innovation clientsSupport the team in preparing property marketing materials and client presentationsConduct property tours and inspections for potential clientsHelp maintain and update property databases and client information systemsCollaborate with senior team members on lease negotiations and transaction managementContribute to business development initiatives and proposal writingAnalyse market trends and prepare reports on the science and innovation real estate sectorAssist in coordinating with other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Life Sciences, or a related field1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate or a relevant industryStrong interest in the life sciences and technology sectorsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM softwareStrong attention to detail and organisational skills

Desired Skills / Experience

Commercial knowledge of laboratory and research facility requirementsUnderstanding of sustainability practices in real estateExperience with financial modeling and analysisAbility to manage timelines and work under pressure to tight deadlinesAbility to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levelsA strong team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work commitmentsPost-qualification experience in an agency/development teamThe successful candidate will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, industrious, and hungry for success
