Our Finance authorities and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this constantly evolving landscape. **What role will you play as a member of Colgate’s Accounts Payable team?** We are seeking a skilled and expert Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the full Payments cycle and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. Key responsibilities include being responsible for invoice processing, handling vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures. Additionally, proficiency in accounting software and skills in financial reporting would be highly beneficial. The Accounts Payable Specialist should be experienced in financial operations, vendor management, and implementing improvements in execution to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The candidate should be comfortable in playing a lead role towards the evolution of financial processes across the global footprint. **Who are you…** **You are a function expert -** + Prepare, Analyze, Run payment proposal as per the scheduled dates for Third party and Inter company payments as per the bank cutoff time + Prepare /Analyze the duplicate report + Prepares monthly SOX and Audit requirements + Maintaining 100% accuracy and efficiency while initiating the payments + Initiate Manual payments based on request with accuracy + Ensure Month end closing on timely basis + Respond to vendor/invoice related enquiry / payment related Issue resolution + Identify and actively participate in Continuous improvement in execution + Ensuring all the SOBP are updated on timely basis + Review, Verify & Post PO and NON PO invoices + Regular review of debit balances/Aged Balances in the vendor account and resolving the same + Ensuring all payments are accurately processed, recorded, and reconciled **You connect the dots -** + Your proficiency in handling accounts payable, coupled with your expertise in developing efficient processes, will bridge the gap between financial requirements and technical implementation. + You will connect the dots by aligning accounts payable configurations with overarching financial objectives, ensuring that our vendor accounts are efficiently mahandlednd payments are timely. **You are a collaborator -** + Your expertise and insights as an Accounts Payable Specialist will be instrumental in driving the success of our financial operations and their integration into our workflows. + You will work closely with finance & other departments to develop and implement robust processes. **You are an innovator -** + You will orchestrate progressive initiatives that push the boundaries of what's possible with accounts payable and beyond. + Your innovative approach will drive the evolution of our financial processes, from introducing efficient features to devising novel approaches for invoice processing and vendor management. + Your ability to think with a financial attitude and build processes from a financial perspective sets you apart as a true innovator. **What you’ll need….
