National Grid is hiring an Associate Analyst for our Cyber Emergency Planning department in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role can be located in Massachusetts and NY State.

Job PurposeReporting to the Director, Emergency Planning Cyber & Services, and working in collaboration with the Information Systems teams, this role will provide analytical support to ensure cyber emergency response readiness. This is not a computer programming or designated IT position, however cyber knowledge is required.
Key Accountabilities Support annual review of Cyber Security/Information Technology Emergency Response Plan review and revision activities to ensure effective processes when responding to an emergency event. Support exercise and training activities to ensure employee readiness to respond with actual emergency events. Support the Emergency Planning program that bolsters internal and external stakeholder management in both New England and New York. Support the development of processes and procedures to address opportunities for improvement identified through After-Action Reviews and vulnerability assessments. Support the development and implementation of data analytics and performance reporting to ensure internal business needs are met. Promote awareness of cyber policy and strategy as appropriate. Support Emergency Planning activities of actual events at emergency operations centers or local on-scene locations. Coordinate with various departments in both New England and New York to ensure that business units have adequate emergency preparedness. Present Cyber and other programmatic analytic findings commensurate with the intended audience. Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Qualifications Bachelor in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis or equivalent. Understands the theory behind emergency management policies and processes and demonstrates the ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working. Experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, or similar fields a plus. Excellent analytical skills and an interest in diving into problems to find a better way. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs. Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed, and in response to emergencies.
